Tangy Vinaigrette Dressing

1 cup olive oil

1/3 cup vinegar (balsamic, red wine, sherry all fit well)

1 tablespoon orange juice

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

2 tablespoons fresh chopped purple basil

1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro

2 cloves garlic (crushed)

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until well combined, or combine all into a glass jar with a tight fitting lid and shake well.  Let the flavors emulsify for 30-60 minutes at room temp.  If preferred, chill before serving.  Store in the refridgerator.
