Refrigerator Pickles

1 onion, sliced

1 green pepper, cut in strips

Cucumbers, sliced ¼ inch thick

(wash well, don’t peel skin off)

Pack lightly in clean and sterilized mayonnaise jar.

 

Mix together:

1 Cup Sugar

1 Tbsp Salt

¼ Tsp Tumeric

½ Tsp Celery Seed

¼ Tsp Mustard Seed

¾ Cup White House White Distilled Vinegar

 

Pour over cucumbers and cover. Refrigerate for at least 3 days. Ready to eat after 3 days.
