Really Yummy Pumpkin Bars

4 eggs

1 c. salad oil

2 1/4 c. sugar

 1 c. cooked pumpkin

 2 c. flour

 2 t. baking powder

 1 t. soda

 1/2 t. salt

 2 t. cinnamon

 1/2 t. ginger

 1/2 t. cloves (optional)

 1/2 t. nutmeg


6 oz cream cheese

 3/4 stick butter

 1 T. milk

 4 c. powdered sugar

 Chopped pecans (optional)


Mix together in large bowl, eggs, salad oil, sugar, and pumpkin and set aside. Sift in bowl, flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg. Mix with other ingredients. Pour in greased and floured 10'x15' bar pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to30 minutes. To make frosting: mix cream cheese, butter, milk and vanilla together and the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread on the cooled bars and sprinkle with pecans.
