Pop's Marinade

Grass-fed steaks don't lend themselves to grilling fresh out of the package.  Grass-fed meat has less fat and tends to be tough unless it is marinated or slow-cooked.  Pop's marinade made me a steak-lover, even though we eat them well-done!

1 part Olive Oil (light or pure works better than extra virgin)

1 part Soy sauce (if you are gluten-free, make sure your soy sauce is too!)

1 part Worcestershire sauce

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Put thawed steaks in a gallon zip-lock bag.  Whisk all ingredients together and pour over the steaks.  Seal the bag and distribute marinade over the meat.  Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, and as long as 72 hours.  Grill to desired temperature.  Even well-done steaks will be tender and juicy after soaking for a day or two in this marinade.
