Lemon Balm uses / Recipes

  1. Add fresh lemon balm leaves to iced tea or lemonade.
  2. Use lemon balm in any recipe that calls for lemon juice or lemon peel, such as Lemony Kale and Garlic Scapes
  3. Dry leaves and brew as a tea
  4. Add ¼ cup fresh lemon balm leaves to olive oil for a lightly scented facial moisturizer. Allow to blend for one week before using to get optimal fragrance.
  5. Flavored Olive Oil for cooking:  Add 1 cup fresh Lemon Balm Leaves to Olive Oil. Allow to blend for one week. Use to sauté or dress any vegetable that would be enhanced by a lemon flavor, such as kale, spinach, asparagus, or garlic scapes.
