FANCY SUMMER SQUASH


 
Pan Pattie squash
Butter
Onions
Salt and pepper
Bread crumbs (optional)
Wash and cut stem off squash. Boil until you can just get the insides scooped out still hard NOT MUSHY!!!!! Cut in half, scoop out the inside. Lay the empty shells on a cookie sheet.

Butter in a fry pan, add the squash insides, onion and garlic (lots) and salt and pepper to taste. (This tastes really good with lots of onion and garlic.)

Cook squash in butter until all liquid is gone, you can also put in bread crumbs to soak up some of the liquid. Put this mixture back into the squash shells. Top with bread crumbs and butter. Bake in the oven until bubbly, about 15-20 minutes at 350, will turn brown.
