Best Quiche Ever

Crust:

1 ½ cup flour

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup butter, cold and cubed

Cut butter into flour until it resembles coarse meal with a couple of butter lumps.

 

Add:

6 tablespoons ice cold water

Mix just barely. Divide crumbly mixture evenly onto 2 large pieces of saran wrap. Bring saran edges to the center and press into a disc.

Freeze one disc for your next quiche or pie and allow one to rest in fridge for an hour before rolling out.

 

Batter:

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons flour

3 eggs, slightly beaten

½ cup milk

Mix together above, then fold in:

8 oz of any cheese

1/3 cup chopped green onion

1 2/3 cup any vegetable

 

1. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 for 40-45minutes

 

Variations:

Chicken, black beans, cheddar

Kale, mushrooms, goat cheese

Broccoli, swiss
