Chocolate Zucchini Cake

1/2 Cup Shortening

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil

1 3/4 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

1/2 Cup Buttermilk

        You can make a buttermilk substitute by adding 1 Teaspoon lemon juice to milk.

2 1/2 Cup Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/2 Teaspoon Cloves

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

2 Cup Grated Zucchini

4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder

 

Bake at 325 for 1 hour.  Spread chocolate chips and nuts on top before baking.
